Wooing the girl…

So the video game world is geared more towards the masculine world. I do not think that many would disagree with this statement. But would you guess that 38 percent of the gamers today are female, and relationships are being tried. Why is this, because the significant others do not like to take backseat to the digital world. The true trial is not getting the females playing the games, but behind the games. There are scholarship opportunities out there just for women in technology because it is a masculine monopoly and no longer a masculine world.

On a side note, this article really hit me, because when I applied to college I applied to the School of Applied Sciences to major in Computer Sciences. Everyone told me that is where the scholarships were just being handed to young women like myself, and you would have no trouble getting a date, lol, being one of the only girls in the program. This was a universal response from all the programs I applied to just 2 years ago.
